Caudal, an everyday weekly publication. A cultural platform, targeted to a younger audience, with the purpose of providing information on current affairs, literature, entertainment and humor. Not only would it be established as media, but through the reinterpretation of codes in the local visual culture, it would generate a new system of visual communication.
For this project, the inspiration comes from the environment in which Caudal exists, from Lima. The color palette is a synthesis of the visual culture reflected in the “chicha” posters of the city. The layout system reinterprets the way in which advertisements are arranged in the urban space. By integrating these elements, the editorial system for the project is generated, allowing versatility.
